Susan England - Solicitor & Head of Department

Susan graduated from Durham University in 1989 with a BSc Honours degree in geology. After working for five years as an engineering geologist, she returned to full time study law. She undertook her training contract with a firm in Dorset, and on qualification she decided to specialise in Wills & Probate work. She moved to Paris Smith & Randall LLP in 2002 and then to Steele Raymond LLP in 2005, before returning to London in 2006 to work in the City. Susan has extensive experience of handling the administration of estates, tax planning, wills, trust drafting & administration, powers of attorney and Court of Protection work. She joined Glazer Delmar in May 2008 to head up and expand the wills and probate department.

Helen Phillips - Solicitor

Helen qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and joined Glazer Delmar in 2001.

She initially practised in the fields of family and immigration law prior to changing to her current area of specialism in 2005.Helen now undertakes all aspects of estate administration work and will drafting.

Helen is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and the Probate Section of the Law Society.

Sheila Buckland - PA

 Sheila has worked for the firm for 29 years, for the first 10 years when it was Lewis Silkin’s south London office, and since 1989 as it is now as Glazer Delmar.

Sheila has had a wide range of legal experience, working in all of the firm’s legal departments during her time with us, but more recently hasconcentrated on work in the Wills & Probate department. It is an area oflaw of which she has a lot of knowledge and experience, and one in which sheenjoys working very much. Sheila is particularly good at keeping up todate with the firm’s and the department’s clients.

In her spare time Sheila likes watching Formula 1, rugby, historic aircraft,going to airshows and being bossed about by her two young cats,Cleo & Carla.
